I was hesitant to watch this, due to the lack of common sense in most TV shows today
Line of Events
When maple syrup farmer Ruth Landry sees her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she concocts a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry. Loosely based on the 2011-2012 theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from a storage facility in Quebec; five people were sentenced to prison.
Likable characters and light entertainment
But I’m glad I gave it a try. These are 30 minute episodes that are silly, cheesy, funny, dramatic, and engaging.
I watched all 6 episodes and am hoping for a season 2
A couple cliffhangers to end the series on a good note. I would recommend watching this and it’s a perfect length that fits right into a half hour show.
The French soundtrack is also appealing
If it was longer it would have dragged on. I’m going to look it up on YouTube Music.
